Simar Turns into a HouseFly in Sasural Simar Ka

Imagination can take you anywhere. In an unprecedented move, the creative team of the popular show, Sasural Simar Ka (SSK), has decided to turn the lead actress into a housefly! Simar’s fight against the supernatural powers began a few months back and is still continuing. The latest teaser of the TV drama says, “Yeh Makhee aap ki Simar hai”.

The lead actress of this highly popular mystic Prime time TV soap opera, Simar aka Deepika Kakkar, has already turned into a housefly. Not just in India it is probably for the first time in the history of any TV serials worldwide, that such a twist happened.

The story behind her transformation to fly is more riveting. One day, Simar went to jungle in search of a miracle stone to cure chanda (fairy), but ended up disturbing a hermit (guru). He cursed the lady and soon after she turned into a fly.

This TV show is one of India’s longest running soap operas. It was launched in 2011 and still going strong albeit with dwindling TRPs day by day. However, the Colors channel is in no mood to stop it.
