Love does not happen by looking at the age. But there could be differences in relationship due to differences in mutual understanding and thinking. De De Pyaar De is full of comic punches, heart-touching emotions and the same old thing – “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya.”

Directed by debutant Akiv Ali; Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh are in the lead role in De De Pyaar De.

The Plot

The story is about Ashish Mehra (Ajay) who lives in London. He is associated with the finance business there. He is rich but has left his wife Tabu and two children living in Kullu, India. He meets Ayesha Khurana (Raqul) in a house party, who is an independent girl working as a bar tender. It was love at first sight. Both fall in love with each other.

Even knowing that the age of Ashish is 50 and Ayesha is 26, both want to get married. But before that Ashish takes Ayesha to meet his family in Kullu. After this, it was a comedy riots. Without revealing much, you must watch the film to know what happens in the end.

The Cast

If talking about acting, then Rakul Preet Singh has taken all the spoils. Rakul has played tremendously in Ayesha’s flirtatious, intriguing and sensible character. Tabu has always been the acting power house, and her emotional performance in this film has been the best.

What to say about Ajay Devgn? Between the old wife and the new girlfriends, both of the condition and circumstances of a man have been performed by Ajay.

As the daughter of Ajay Devgn, Inayat Sood has also given a good performance in the film. Jimmy Shergill, Alok Nath and Kumud Mishra also look good.

Screenplay and The Direction

After films like Pyaar Ka Pankanama, Sonu Te Titu Di Sweety; Love Ranjan is like an emerging name in the comedy films. But this time he has disappointed as a script writer.

Akiv Ali’s has succeeded in justifying his story emotionally. I must say, he has done a good job as an editor and director of DDPD.

The Music

There are two remix songs in the film. The rest of the songs are original. The songs are all good, especially Armaan Malik’s ‘Chalna Aana’ and Arjeet Singh’s ‘Dil Roe Jaaye’ is very cute.

Apart from the love story with age gap, DDPD talk about issues like divorce. If attention was given to the film’s story line then it could have been a better film. If you want to watch this movie for time with Family, then you can watch it.
