Swine Flu strikes again in Gujarat

Swine Flu has claimed 3 deaths in five days in Ahmedabad. The death toll in the city due to swine flu now stands at 16 with 77 cases reported this year.

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation released a civic health report this Monday. The report clearly shows that the number of deaths caused by Swine Flu in the city has risen up to alarming numbers with a death being reported in every three days. Sources have revealed that the health department of AMC fears a fast and deadly spread of HINI virus over the city that may lead to many more deaths if necessary precautions are not taken on time.

In an advisory for the general public, AMC has warned people to watch out for the common symptoms of the virus like cold, cough, sore throat, fever, body pain and fatigue. If any of the symptoms is detected, it is requested to seek immediate medical help at the nearest civil hospital.
