Instead their is doing all the say, now days politician seems to be in news for all wrong reasons or its media (as per them) who is not publishing their statements correctly & completely.
Whatever is the case, let’s leave it to both politicians and media houses.
Our central government and its union minsters are in bad news from past many days. 1st it was meat ban, which I personally feel shouldn’t be a big deal, if imposed for a few days. Then they said that Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam despite being Muslim was a nationalist. And latest one is when women in India should go out of their home.
According to Union Cultural Minister Mr. Mahesh Sharma or as one of the biggest media house has claimed, he has said that “Girls wanting a night out may be all right elsewhere but it is not part of Indian culture”.
But as per Mr. Mahesh Sharma, he is not against Western culture. But he doesn’t want Indians to follow it blindly. His statement was distorted and he has twitted the same.
My statements are being taken otherwise. Our culture is our identity and we should stride to preserve the same. (2/2) @ibnlive

There is nothing controversial in the @ibnlive interview. My statements are being distorted and presented. (1/2)

Earlier he clarified his statement about Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. According to him that statement too was distorted. Have a look on his tweets

I hope that this is what he meant, and yes, I agree that nothing should be followed blindly.
Being cultural minister, I hope he will work towards a better civilized society.
