We live in a world where it is not enough that a girl went through a rape, we further question her character for drawing such a brutal attention to herself. This is a comment posted on Facebook by someone on the Stanford Rape case,
“Usually white men are automatically guilty of everything (especially if they’re rich), but what actually makes this rape? How is anybody to know if the sex was consensual or not? If she doesn’t remember anything, then how does she remember that she didn’t say yes? What if she had agreed to sleep with this drunk freshman while she herself was heavily intoxicated? Wouldn’t she be just as guilty of raping a drunk guy? Why is it only rape if a drunk guy sleeps with a drunk girl, and not the other way around? The guy gave his account, why is he automatically the liar?
this girl got drunk and is embarrassed by what she did.”
This is the condition of our mind. Why is it that when a rape happens we try to find a reason? What could the victim have done to deserve rape? What CAN anyone do to deserve rape? How does it matter whether a girl is drunk, wearing a short skirt or a bikini? Does that mean that she is available to be raped? How ridiculous is our thinking! Yes, she may be available with consensual sex. It’s her business, but being raped isn’t her business!
Student who helped Stanford Rape Victim Speaks Out
The incredulous Stanford Rape case, January 2016 that has sent the world in an outrage has finally sentenced the rapist on a 6 months imprisonment.
There has been an uproar following the leniency in the sentence of Judge Aaron Persky.

While the victim faced insane questioning at the court her courage is notable, she says,
“On nights when you feel alone, I am with you,” she said. “When people doubt you or dismiss you, I am with you. I fought everyday for you. So never stop fighting, I believe you.”
Mr. Turner’s plea to the Judge was even more insane!
“A steep price to pay for 20 minutes of action”. “20 minutes of ACTION”?
ACTION! That’s just what it was for Brock! An action that gave him momentary thrill and spoiled a girl’s soul, spirit and mind, probably forever!
Even though Brock Turner tries to draw sympathy.
