India is progressing every day and has gained success in many fields. Technology is a field where we have recorded many successes. Space is another such place where India continues to re-write its success story. A few days back we shot down one of our own moving satellites. Only fourth country to do so after China, USA and Russia.

History was created through the launching of PSLV-C45. It took about three hours to complete the mission.

It is a historic achievement for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the entire ISRO team for its successful launch.

EMISAT and 28 other Nano-satellites were launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota using PSLV on Monday, April 1, 2019.

  • This is first such launch for ISRO in three different orbits.
  • This also made for the first time for India to have used four strap-on-motors by PSLV Rocket.

Earlier, either two strap-ons or six strap-ons configuration was used by the launch vehicles.

EMISAT is a military satellite. It is designed in such a way that it can keep an eye on enemy radars and can trap sensors on the border. It will be useful to find exact topography and to know actual number of active communicative devices.

It’s surely a win for ISRO and we applaud them for this commendable achievement.
